Tiles as a frame
Rows of small segments recall a tiled wall.
Glossy concrete finish
Dark Chocolate glaze-like shine on a mineral body.
Brings architectural character
Depth and rhythm on a plain wall.
Works in many rooms
Living room, hallway, bathroom or entrance.

A frame like a tiled wall
Small rectangular segments run around the glass like tiles set in rows. The rhythm of the joints gives the frame depth and texture, so the mirror reads as part of the architecture rather than an object hung on it.

Cast in concrete
The frame is glass fibre reinforced concrete, which can be cast thin and detailed while staying strong. A glossy Dark Chocolate finish brings out the shape of every segment as light moves across it.

Hanging it safely
At 59 x 85 x 5 cm and 20 kg, Tiling needs a solid wall and fixings rated for its weight. Read the assembly manual and follow each step, and move the mirror as little as possible once it is up.
Materials
- Glass fibre reinforced concrete

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Trine Andersen, and its collections are developed by the brand's in-house design studio there. Tiling is a studio mirror that borrows from architecture, turning the familiar grid of wall tiles into a sculptural frame.
