Tydra: mirror-polished steel bowls and trays like waves
DesignerFerm Living design studio
Tydra is a family of bowls and trays in mirror-polished stainless steel. Their rippled outline recalls the movement of waves, and the polish catches the light on every curve, so each piece is both a serving vessel and a small sculpture.

Waves in steel
The rippled edge gives a sense of flow to the table.
A bright mirror polish
Reflects light and colour around it.
Use or display
Fruit, snacks and trinkets, or nothing at all.
Easy to clean
Dishwasher safe; hand washing keeps the shine longer.
Shaped like water
Tydra's rippled silhouette recalls the movement of waves, bringing a sense of flow to the table. In mirror-polished stainless steel, every curve catches the light and reflects the room, so the piece changes as you move.
Two bowls for serving
The large bowl is 29 x 25 cm and 10 cm high, ready to use as a fruit bowl or serving vessel. The small bowl is 14 x 12 cm and 7 cm high, suited to snacks, olives or small objects, or to stand alone as a sculpture.
Two trays for display
The trays measure 20 x 28 cm and 24 x 34.5 cm, low and rippled, for displaying small objects and trinkets on a dresser, desk or table. Ferm Living also offers the two trays together as a gift set.
