The Vari Hot Water Bottle Cover is made from quilted, crinkled organic cotton and finished with a dark brown edge tape and a mother of pearl shell button closure. Designed alongside the Vari Quilted Bedspread and the Vari Quilted Cushions, it brings the same considered textile detail to a winter essential.
It is made from 100% organic cotton with recycled polyester padding, OCS certified (Blended Cert-CU847743), measures 26 x 40 x 0.5 cm and comes in Natural/Dark Chocolate. The hot water bottle itself is not included. Wash gently at 30°C, iron at low temperature and do not tumble dry.

DesignerFerm Living design studio
Vari is a Ferm Living quilted textile series with irregular stitching and recycled polyester padding. In washed organic cotton with dark chocolate piping it makes bedspreads, a cushion and a hot water bottle cover; in velvet or cotton it makes Christmas stockings and gift sacks.

Quilted, not perfect
Vari is defined by its quilting: soft padding held by irregular lines of stitching. In the bedroom pieces the organic cotton is delicately washed and finished with dark chocolate piping, which adds structure and a little contrast.
For the bedroom
The bedspreads come in single, 180 x 260 cm, and double, 230 x 260 cm, and the rectangular cushion at 80 x 60 cm has a feather and down filling. A hot water bottle cover closes with a mother of pearl shell button.
Made for giving gifts
The Christmas pieces use organic cotton velvet or pre-consumer cotton. Stockings are about 33 x 40 cm with a cotton-banded top, and the 50 x 70 cm sacks close with an oversized drawstring, so gifts need no paper.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Vari was designed in its Copenhagen studio, using the same irregular quilting for bedroom textiles and for Christmas stockings and gift sacks.
