The Oiva / Kurre Plate 20 cm carries the Kurre squirrels across a round plate from the Oiva series. Oiva tableware is designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Extending Aino-Maija Metsola's tales from the forest, Kurre presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts, a common sight in the designer's childhood yard. The original artwork was painted on paper with brush and ink.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, the plate measures 20 cm across and is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. It is available in White / Brown / Black / Light Blue. Please remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Use it as a side or dessert plate, and complete the setting with the Kurre bowls and mugs in the Marimekko collection.
