The Marimekko Räsymatto Cotton Fabric is a heavyweight organic cotton printed in Helsinki and sold by the metre, sturdy enough for curtains, cushions and bags. Maija Louekari's Räsymatto, Finnish for rag rug, came out of allotment gardening and the pleasure of working with your hands, where a rag rug on a cottage floor tells a colourful story of its own.
All of the cotton in the fabric is organic, it is made in Finland, the pattern repeat is 62 cm, and it comes in a White, Light Blue and Orange colourway as well as White and Black. Wash with like colours at the temperature given, with shrinkage of up to 4%.
