The Panthella 400 is Verner Panton's Panthella table lamp in its original 1971 proportions: a 40 cm hemispherical shade in white opal acrylic above a trumpet-shaped base that reflects the light back into the room, softly and without glare.
Panton wanted a lamp with no visible light source, in which every surface either emits or reflects light. Created with Louis Poulsen, it has remained in continuous production for over half a century.
Give it room to breathe on a sideboard, console or wide desk — its full-size glow can anchor a seating corner on its own. Browse more table lamps or the Verner Panton collection.
Light source: E27 (E26 compatible), 1 bulb, max 28 W. IP20, indoor. Bulb not included — we recommend an E27 LED (6–6.5 W, 806 lm), 2700 K.
