Launched for Poul Henningsen's 120th birthday, the PH 3½-3 Metal Pendant revives the coloured-metal variants of his three-shade system that filled Louis Poulsen's catalogue in the late 1920s and 1930s. The spun-aluminium shades are pressed at the company's own factory in Vejen, Denmark, finished with white rolled edges and white inner sides, and hung from a silk-matt brown copper suspension — graphic when unlit, 100% glare-free when lit.
The metal shades direct all light downward, making this pendant lamp a natural choice 50–60 cm above a dining table, kitchen island or desk.
