This set brings two kitchen towels printed in different colourways of Kukasta Kukkaan, both with a hanging loop on the long edge and printed in Helsinki. Erja Hirvi created the pattern in 2024 in a burst of painting at her summer retreat, and its Finnish name, from flower to flower, follows bumblebees among summer blooms.
Both towels are woven from a blend of 48% recycled cotton, 31% organic cotton and 21% linen, so the colour and surface are lively and small differences between pieces appear. Each measures 43 x 70 cm, and the pair comes in Off-White / Pink / Terracotta / Ochre. Wash before use at the stated temperature, without fabric conditioner.
Keep one in use and one in the drawer, or give the pair with a tablecloth from the Marimekko collection.
