The Kukasta Kukkaan Kitchen Towel is printed in Helsinki and finished with a hanging loop on the long edge. Erja Hirvi painted the pattern in 2024 during a burst of creativity at her summer retreat, capturing the many ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name translates as from flower to flower, a nod to bumblebees moving between summer blooms.
The cloth is an unbleached blend of 48% recycled cotton, 31% organic cotton and 21% linen, so its colour and surface are lively and small variations between towels are normal. It measures 43 x 70 cm in Hay / Plum / Bronze / Terracotta. Wash before use at the stated temperature, without fabric conditioner.
Keep it on the oven rail for daily drying, or fold it as a gift with other kitchen textiles from the Marimekko collection.
