The Marimekko Oiva Teapot was designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, and pairs a plain white stoneware body, strainer and lid with a wooden handle and a wooden knob, so the shape carries the design rather than a print.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware with maple wood parts, it holds 7 dl, is food safe and comes in White. Wash it by hand only, do not use it on a hob or cooktop, and do not soak the wooden parts. Wiping the wood with a wood oil or vegetable oil, leaving it 30 minutes and removing the excess, keeps it in good condition.
Use it with the printed Oiva cups from the Marimekko collection.

褐色陶土與點狀釉
部分單品採用褐色炻器。Kukasta kukkaan盤以貼花呈現Hirvi於2024年創作的花卉，Koppa餐盤則有多彩點狀釉，皮革提把可拆下清洗。

Sami Ruotsalainen於2005年取得University of Art and Design Helsinki陶瓷與玻璃設計碩士學位。他為Arabia設計了Maku系列，並為Marimekko設計Oiva器型，再由Marimekko的印花設計師添加裝飾。他目前任職於Marimekko設計團隊。
