The VL Ring Crown was drawn by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s for Radiohuset, the Danish Broadcasting House whose every detail his studio designed with Louis Poulsen — and though never installed there, it graced Finn Juhl's 1947 interior for the Bing & Grøndahl porcelain factory before its 2019 reintroduction. Two mouth-blown, three-layered opal glass shades sit on a satin-polished brass frame that is deliberately left untreated, developing a living patina over the years.
