The PH 80 was created in 1974 as a tribute to Poul Henningsen on what would have been his 80th birthday, translating his 1920s three-shade principles into white opal acrylic — with the signature red top reflector warming the light's tone. The PH 80 Portable Lamp brings the story into the present: the same silhouette and shade geometry, now with a built-in rechargeable LED that frees this Louis Poulsen classic from the wall socket entirely.
