The Marimekko Syksy Bowl set holds two glass bowls with the Syksy relief worked into the outer surface, packed in a box printed with the Marimekko logo. Matti Klenell's Syksy, Finnish for autumn, follows the shapes of autumn rain from a gentle drizzle to a drenching downpour, captured as an organic, relief-like surface applied in the designer's sketching hand.
Both bowls are 100% glass, made in Thailand, food safe and dishwasher safe, each holding 2.5 dl, and the set comes in Clear. Marimekko glassware is mouth blown into a mould, so occasional air bubbles and small signs of craftsmanship are part of each piece.
Serve from them with plates from the Marimekko collection.
