The Pilari Vase is a tall, column-like form designed for Marimekko by Carina Seth Andersson. Its name is the Finnish word for pillar, and the weight of the mouth-blown glass gives the piece a quiet, architectural presence on a floor or a large table.
Each vase is mouth-blown into a mould from 100% glass in Thailand, so occasional air bubbles and other small signs of craftsmanship appear and slight variation between pieces is natural. It stands 30 cm tall, comes in Golden Brown and Clear, and arrives in a Marimekko logo-pattern box. Hand wash only.
Fill it with tall branches or leave it empty as a sculptural object, alongside other glass in the Marimekko collection.
