Description
Poul Henningsen's four-shade system, designed in 1931, aimed to provide greater horizontal light for walls and shelves. It was reworked in 1979 by architects Sophus Frandsen and Ebbe Christensen, adding blue and matte white shades to reduce glare. A smaller version, PH 5/4½, was created for the Aarhus Concert Hall in 1980.
Please note: This lamp does not include a light bulb. For optimal performance, we recommend an E27 LED bulb (8,5–10W, 1055 lumens) with a color temperature between 2700K and 3000K.
