The AJ Garden Bollard carries the most recognisable silhouette in Danish design — the angled AJ shade Arne Jacobsen created for the SAS Royal Hotel in 1957 — into the garden. Louis Poulsen, Jacobsen's original manufacturing partner, re-engineered the graphic head around a built-in LED with weather-sealed construction and a white-painted shade interior, in two heights with base, anchor or plug-and-play spike mounting.
The tilted shade throws light forward and down — onto the path, not into the eyes — ideal for marking walkways, doorsteps and terrace edges with calm, glare-free pools of light; a row of two or three draws a quiet rhythm along a front path, and one external adapter can run up to six bollards.
