Spiral Pendant Mini

The Spiral collection captures Verner Panton's experimental play with colour and form — how objects interact with their surroundings through reflection, sound and movement. The Spiral Mini is a small pendant of silver spirals.

Verner Panton spent the late 1960s asking what would happen if a lamp stopped being an object and became an atmosphere. His answer, explored in the legendary interior installations of that period, was to hang ceilings full of light-catching spirals that moved with the air and turned static rooms into shimmering environments. The Spiral Mini distils that radical experiment into its most concentrated form: a compact cluster of silver coils that scatters light in constant, gentle motion. Because the spirals reflect rather than glow, the lamp reads as bright silver by day and as a sparkling, almost liquid cascade by night — two different objects for the price of one. The Mini is the easiest member of the Spiral family to live with, and arguably the most versatile designer pendant for a small home. Hang it low over a bedside table to replace a lamp entirely, drop it into a reading corner, or suspend two or three at staggered heights over a kitchen counter or hallway for a jewellery-like composition that takes up almost no visual weight. It thrives near windows and mirrors, where every passing reflection multiplies.
