The OE Quasi Pendant Light is artist Olafur Eliasson's 2019 collaboration with Louis Poulsen: a rigid aluminium icosahedron holding a floating polycarbonate dodecahedron. Twelve LEDs embedded in the frame's inner vertices feed light guides along the edges, illuminating the matt white central reflector so the light arrives spherical, dynamic and glare-free. True to Eliasson's environmental thinking, it is built from 90% recycled aluminium and designed for disassembly, so parts can be repaired or recycled.
